Rachel George, 4-H member in Kittitas, WA, shared some thoughts about her experiences in 4-H teen leadership activities while attending the 2007 4-H Forum in Pasco, WA. Rachel has explored many aspects of 4-H through various project areas, but she feels strongly that youth should take advantage of the additional opportunities that 4-H has for teens to develop their leadership skills and potential.Rachel was a CTR (County Teen Rep) at the 2007 Know Your Government Conference in Olympia, WA. She led groups in team-building activities and ice-breakers and believes that this experience will help prepare her for her future goal of becoming an elementary school teacher.
