On September 10, 2009 the Northwest Maritime Center opened its doors to the public for a tour of the new facility located in Port Townsend, Washington. The mission of the Northwest Maritime Center is to engage and educate people of all generations in traditional and contemporary maritime life, in a spirit of adventure and discovery.
