Sophie Gilbert visited the Smithsonian Institution, National Air and Space Museum when she was in Washington D.C. to cover a 4-H sponsored Science, Engineering and Technology (SET) event. During this event, Sophie will have the opportunity to interview Congressional members of the 4-H Caucus.Above Sophie sits in front of an exhibit about Amelia Earhart, the famous female aviator.
Sophie has been in 4-H for four years where she has explored video production, acting, reporting, web design, robotics, photography and more. As a member of 4-H Network News she has been a leader in the use of online communication systems and has worked to help pass bills to finance community technology education across Washington State.Her video reports will be published soon!
