John Deere Foundation supports 4-H science initiative!

4-H Network News reporters, Matthew Elmore and Sophie Gilbert, stand with John Deere Foundation representatives, Cheryl Salley and John Deere. The John Deere Foundation has been an active supporter of 4-H youth programs, including science and leadership programs, as well as 4-H Afterschool.

They were attending the roll out of the exciting 4-H initiative:

One Million New Scientists.
One Million New Ideas.

Corporate sponsors are important partners in the National 4-H Council effort to increase training in the areas of Science, Engineering and Technology (SET). Thanks go to the John Deere Foundation and others, who understand the importance of the United States remaining internationally competitive in the sciences!
