Katherine Baril, WSU Jefferson County Extension Director, has positively energized the economic development efforts in our county. The Growing Green Enterprises Workshop held at the Washington State University Jefferson County Extension, was organized by Dr. Katherine Baril, Director; presented by EcoVentures International, NorthWest Area Foundation and Women Entrepreneurs of Baltimore. Co-sponsored by Enterprise For Equity, Port Townsend Food CO-OP, Northwest Natural Resource Group, ShoreBank Enterprise Cascadia, among many other leaders in the local sustainable development arena.
Speakers covered topics, including green building, value chain analysis, microenterprise, and local economic development.
