Maggiano's Little Italy Excursion

Gena Royal, 4-H coordinator in Clallam County, WA and Nancy Mordhorst, 4-H program coordinator from Pullman, WA enjoy a dinner out in Washington D.C. during the National 4-H Curriculum Conference. This restaurant served incredible food. We ordered chicken cacciatore that held the best tomato sauce ever, spinach salad with peppers and onions cooked in oil, and more. In the hallway leading to the restaurant were historical photographs of the owner's family. The dark woodwork, high ceilings, red velvet curtains, and Persian rugs created an atmosphere of complete relaxation and elegance. Our waiter had a wonderful sense of humor and conversation - I particularly loved it when he vigorously dried our salad plates with a towel before placing them on the table.(Pamela Roberts, photographer)

Notice the towel on the waiter's shoulder for wiping plates/tables/etc.
