Jefferson County Employee Recognition Week

From l. to r. Shelby Smith and Darcy McNamara of WSU Jefferson County Extension look longingly at a scrumptious box of fresh bagels. Jefferson County Treasurer Judi Morris had just dropped them off as a special treat for Sally Chapin (r.) and Laurie Meyer, WSU Jefferson County receptionist and office manager.

This appealing tidbit was part of Jefferson County Employee Recognition Week, which includes a series of privately funded "pats on the back" for county employees, topped off with a county-wide celebration at H.J. Carroll Park in Chimacum!

Jefferson County shouts a great big THANK YOU to its awesome employees!

As Eleanor stated in her interview, "You can't succeed unless you are truly committed."
