Sonoma County 4-H Program: Windsor Bloco Part 4

Jack, drummer, talks about her experience with the 4-H Windsor Bloco program.

Once the drum and dance skills are mastered, the youth perform for the community. They bring smiles and fast paced rhythms to their audiences. By integrating basic music skills and learning to work together as a unit, youth are involved in team building and cultural appreciation. Students also contribute to the process of creating a successful performance through committing to disciplined rehearsals where they learn new music skills and routines and how to work effectively with other team members to produce the final product.
