WTAP-TV (Parkersburg, WV) - Hundreds of Valley citizens were grilling out for a good cause Saturday night.
The Washington County 4H Club hosted its sixth annual Endowment Dinner at the Washington County Fairgrounds.
Those in attendance had the opportunity to browse through the country store and bid on the silent auction.
Roughly three hundred people filed into the fairgrounds, all to raise scholarship money for local 4H youngsters.
"We do it because we love kids. We believe in kids. We want to give them the best opportunities and chances and help with leadership development and this is one way we can do that," says 4H Youth Development Chairman Connie Cunningham.
Cunningham says this years turnout was the largest in history. They raised more than ten thousand dollars in scholarship money. (Access Video Report)
